This is one of the most depressing scenes I have ever witnessed in a video game. When the guardians head to the Summoner’s Sanctum to rescue Yuna, and discover that she isn’t there, Tidus learns about the fate that awaits Yuna at the end of her pilgrimage.

—————>Your Favourite Character
My favourite character is easily Yuna from Final Fantasy X / X-2. When we first met her in X, she was a Summoner about to begin her pilgrimage to Zanarkand. Along the way, we started to learn more about her, and eventually, what would happen at the end of said pilgrimage. The fact that she was willing to complete her journey knowing what awaited her at the end, sacrificing her life for the people of Spira, showed me that although she isn’t the most physically strong, her spirit and resolve towers over everyone else.
